Video editing has always been a passion of mine ever since I began to watch YouTube as a young child. Video editing became a skill in which I wanted to learn and understand to create my own content whilst recording video games. As time went on, it was clear that I had a drive to become a video editor and I went on to study Film Practice (Editing Pathway) at London South Bank University. After graduating from London South Bank University with a 2:1, I wanted to expand on my skills of editing and I thrived at the idea of learning the fundamentals of being able to edit, and film, a wide range of content; Ranging from short film edits, which I was highly skilled in producing during university, to adverts and company events that require elements of videography. I have excellent knowledge of monetisation, especially on YouTube, as I was part owner of a channel that I used to run with three of my colleagues called 'FourBroShow', which has 20k subscribers.
I pride myself in being able to work towards my clients brief whilst paying attention to details to create captivating content. Since graduating from university, I have been freelancing, as a video editor, whilst simultaneously developing my portfolio and producing work to demonstrate the talents that I possess. I have edited a few projects so far for different clients and I have received amazing feedback about my work. I am experienced in Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, and Davinci Resolve, which is my most preferred software to use, as it combines all the vital aspects of editing in one software. I am also experienced in using Adobe Photoshop, when required, to produce flyers and other essential content that links to the marketing value of the projects that I am producing. EDUCATION
